In March 2026, Lachlan, Gideon and Tim joined a team from Fathom Pacific and ERM to collect data as part of an environmental impact assessment study for future offshore wind installations. Three weeks at sea yielded 75 dives and over 440,000 high-resolution seafloor images. These images are being examined as part of a broader assessment of the distribution of habitats in this part of Bass Strait.
